How it works

This is not software. We're humans who are going to do work so you don't have to do it yourself.

Schedule a Zoom call with us. We need the hiring manager on the call, plus the recruiter carrying the req. There's no need for y’all to prepare.

2️⃣

On the call, we'll pepper you with questions. For part of the call we'll record the hiring manager saying good stuff. This is where the video clips come from.

3️⃣

Four hours later (seriously), we'll deliver your new, awesome JD.

What do I get?

You get two things.

An awesome JD delivered as a Google Doc + a Google Drive folder with all of the video clips. These are for you to load into your company’s ATS.
We’ll also host a copy of the JD, including all video clips, here on this website. It’ll look nice and you can start using it immediately.

What’s the use case? Why is this better than a text-only JD?

What is this website? It’s kinda ugly.

This site is built in Notion. It’s not quite beautiful but it’s extremely effective. A lot of people love the hell out of Notion, especially in the tech world. Strange as it seems, we’ve found that hosting JDs here leads to higher response rates.

What do I need to bring?

Anything you have will be handy, but otherwise you don’t need to create anything new before we talk. We’ve designed this to be crazy easy for you. If you have an existing JD, cool, but otherwise just bring your notes—or even just talk at us. We’re good listeners and this isn’t our first rodeo. We’ve got you.

How many can you do?

Each one takes us about four hours. We currently have the capacity to handle two per day. Sometimes we get booked pretty far in advance. If you’re in a hurry or have a lot of JDs, please contact us ASAP.

What’s the point of having my JD on this website?

It makes everything go faster. Many (most?) of our customers make use of cumbersome applicant tracking systems. Think of hosting here as a lazer-fast solution while you get thing into your ATS, which can take some time. We also get traffic here that you’ll probably appreciate.
