Team member Q&A.
What is Turo’s culture like?
“Our Executive leadership team is really committed to transparency and committed to building a solid company by picking solid people.”
What’s the hardest problem you recently solved successfully?
“Putting this out into production for thousands and thousands of people to use was definitely nerve wracking, but I had a lot of support from my team, and I don’t think anyone at any point ever expressed a drop of doubt, which was really big and says a lot.”
What is the most difficult part of your work?
“It’s a lot of moving pieces…you are involved in more product decisions. I don’t think there are many people who have the chance to contribute and be involved this deeply.”
What are the main technical challenges that you're facing?
“Scale is a challenge that we need to work on….where is the bottleneck in scaling right now?…What are the different bottlenecks that prevent us from getting scale? Then we start looking at it from a technical perspective and start working on that.”
